Yes. Many of our appointments are booked by sons, daughters and carers. Please tell us the patient's age, any mobility needs and the main concern.

Yes. Family members and carers are welcome and are often a great help, especially for patients with memory problems or anxiety.

Allow about 45 minutes to an hour, including time to talk. If the patient tires easily, tell us and we will plan a shorter visit.

No. Age alone is never a reason to avoid dental care. Dr. Rifat plans treatment around a person's health and wishes, not their age.

Dr. Rifat is a DHA-licensed General Dentist with a Master's degree in Geriatric Dentistry from the University of Southern California. Her practice focuses on older adults and people with special health needs.
